Dear Clayton,
Hello!
Sorry to hear that you weren’t feeling too well over the holidays.
I hope that this finds you having a good day.
I’m having a bad hair day myself.
My Mistress just gave me a bath and decided to take my picture. Humans don’t make any sense sometimes. What color is your hair? Mine is mostly gray. Do you like curls?
The Relay for Life sounds real neat.
I’d like to see a picture of the best looking Grandpa. Next time be sure and hand out your autograph.
The little people that came to see me at Christmas are a 6 years old girl and a 3 year old boy. The boy played his guitar and sang at the top of his voice while the girl turned her keyboard up as high as it would go all at the same time. Talk about a racket- it made my ears hurt. I howled and barked to show my disapproval. It was a relief when their mother made them put those noisy things up.
You’ll never guess what we have at our house now.
Two German shepherd pups! My Mistress is calling them Shep and Natasha. She got a wild hair about getting a German shepherd dog to replace Sandy when she goes to doggy heaven. Then the Master came into contact with this man when he was driving someone to the hospital that raises German shepherds and found out that he gives them away. So the other Saturday they left and came back with two pups. The pups are fat little things (about half the size of me) and dark with golden markings. My Mistress set up a pen for them in the dining room until it gets warmer outside. The pups eat like pigs and still sleep a lot, but when they are awake I have fun playing with them. You wouldn’t believe how fast their little legs go and when they run into two different directions it sure keeps me busy keeping up with them. I plan on teaching them some manners. Right now they make an awful racket whenever they want attention. It is a good thing that my Mistress has me to help her raise them.
Take care of yourself! I hope you get some energy back soon. We have all kinds of energy on this end if you need some.
Lots of doggy kisses and prayers,
Lucy Lou
