WELCOME TO MY DOGGY WORLD!

I'm so excited that you have come to check me out. I'm not just an ordinary dog by any stretch of the imagination. In fact I'm rather special- even if I do say so myself. Not that life has been full of tummy rubs, doggy treats, or juicy bones. You might be surprised though at how much we have in common if you stick around.

Dear Clayton

Dear Clayton,

Hello!
Did you have a good Christmas?

It was awful exciting at our house. I got two new balls to play with, lots of yummy scraps, and a super doggy toy. It is a red and green twisted rope with two loops that are perfect for grabbing and chewing on. There was a ball in the middle, but Sandy and I chewed it off. Every day I chew on the rope. What fun! My Mistress gave it to me early. I was the first one to get a Christmas present so you can see how I rate around here.

My Mistress has let Sandy inside this winter as she has arthritis in both of her hips and has trouble walking around. She sleeps most of the day close by the fire. Not me. I’m too busy keeping an eye on those cats or playing with my toys.

For some reason I’ll never figure out in my doggy mind, I wasn’t allowed under the Christmas tree, but my Mistress let the two fat cats sit under it. I kept trying to chase them away by diving on either side of the manger in the front. Between me and Sandy’s tail the manger scene’s figures never did stay upright. Also every time Sandy wagged her tail close to the Christmas tree she would knock off a bell or one of the bows on a present. You could say that we left our doggy mark around that tree.

Then when the two little people (my Mistress’ grandkids) came we really had a ball. They are full of energy and love to make lots of noise. I didn’t take a nap while there were around as I didn’t want to miss anything. So by the time they left I was quite worn out from keeping an eye on those two. Both my Mistress and I had a long snooze.

I hear that you have to keep running to the bathroom.
Do you go outside like I do? Whenever I go outside I also like to play. I hope you have fun when you go to the bathroom too.

Well I’d better close this for now.
Have a Happy New Year on your end!
Lots of doggy wishes,

Lucy Lou
