WELCOME TO MY DOGGY WORLD!

I'm so excited that you have come to check me out. I'm not just an ordinary dog by any stretch of the imagination. In fact I'm rather special- even if I do say so myself. Not that life has been full of tummy rubs, doggy treats, or juicy bones. You might be surprised though at how much we have in common if you stick around.

Lucy Lou

Hello Lucy Lou,

I am sorry I have not written you in awhile, but I wasn't feeling too good over the holidays.

I am so glad you had such a good Christmas. Even though I wasn't feeling up to par I too had a good Christmas.

Yes, I had to go to the bathroom a lot and no I don't go outside like you, but I am sure some people here wished I did go outside. It was so embarrassing since we had LOTS of company. We used lots of candles and did a lot of laundry. That's another thing you are lucky about, you don't have all those clothes to contend with.

How old are the two little people that come to visit your Mistress? We had a one year old come here for five days. He just learned to walk. Needless to say our quiet uneventful life was changed in a hurry to noise and commotion. All the talking got on my nerves too. I just couldn't get any rest. They brought lots of goodies though. I am a real popular guy to all these people.

Did I tell you I plan to go to the University of Georgia in April? No, I am not going as a student. I think I am too old for that. I am going for a thing called, "Relay for Life". It's for cancer survivors and caregivers. I'd take you with me, but you have to have had cancer and thankfully you have not had that. Let me tell you, you wouldn't want to ever have cancer even to get to go to the "Relay for Life". Our Granddaughter, who is in the second year of college there is in charge of the entertainment for it and wants me to go. She said even if I can't walk around the track she would push me in a wheelchair. Oh! Yes, I forgot to tell you that last year I couldn't go so she took a picture of me and I was on Big Screen TV. I was voted the best looking Grandpa. WOW! What an honor!

Did I tell you my hair is growing back? It's still quite short and thin. Sure wish I had some of yours, but even if I did I don't know how it would stay on my head. Oh! I just got an idea, maybe we could make a wig out of some of yours.

I am going to have to take chemo again. The Dr said maybe we could hold off until spring and I got some of my energy back. I feel tired a lot.

You take care of that Mistress of yours. She is a pretty nice lady. I am sure I don't have to tell you that. Give her lots of Doggy kisses from me and tell her she is in my prayers. You be good.

Clayton
